A women has died in a single vehicle road crash in the Bellinter area of Co Meath.
Emergency services attended the scene shortly after 1pm on Monday.
The woman, who was aged in her 70s and was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene before being removed to Navan mortuary where a postmortem is due to take place.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward. They are particularly appealing to any road users who were travelling in the area at the time with camera footage to make this available to them.
