Woman dies in Portadown fire

A woman has died in a house fire in Portadown.

The blaze at the property in the Oakleigh Park area of the town was reported to emergency services at around 7.20am.

Firefighters attended the scene but the woman could not be saved.

No details about the victim have been released.

The PSNI said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
