Woman (82) dies in Donegal road crash

An elderly woman has died following a road crash in Bundoran, Co Donegal.

The 82-year-old was in a car which hit a fence at The Ross on the N15 Bundoran bypass. The incident took place at about 3.50pm yesterday.

The woman was taken from the scene by ambulance but died en route to Sligo Regional Hospital.

The road has been examined by forensic collision investigators.
