Woman (75) killed in two-car crash in the North

A 75-year-old woman has been killed in a two-car crash in Northern Ireland.

The incident occurred at about 2.10pm on Monday at Carney Hill, on the A2 between Bangor and Holywood.

The woman was the driver of one of the cars involved in the incident.

The male driver of the second car has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.

The road remains closed for examination by PSNI investigators.
