Woman (30s) dies following car crash in Co Meath

Gardaí investigate two-vehicle crash involving car and van in Lobinstown on Friday

A woman has died following a two-vehicle crash in Co Meath on Friday evening.

The crash, involving a car and a van, occurred on the Slane to Drumconrath Road at Lobinstown shortly after 9pm.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van was not injured.

The road remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators, according to gardaí.
