Tributes have been paid to the victim of a fatal road crash in Co Meath on Friday.
Mother of two Ena Tobin – known as Ann – from Navan was the driver of a car involved in a collision with a van on the Slane-to-Drumconrath road at Lobinstown, shortly after 9pm.
Navan Athletics Club cancelled training over the weekend as a mark of respect.
“Ena Tobin represented both Navan AC and Drogheda & District AC and will be remembered as someone who always tried to run with a smile on her face,” the club said in a statement.

“Her family have been involved in the club for many years and her sister Sonya is currently a club coach.”
Local GAA club Simonstown Gaels also cancelled all its games over the weekend as a mark of respect to the Tobin family. Ms Tobin is the sister of former Meath GAA player Séan Tobin .
In a statement, the club said: “On behalf of the membership of the club we wish to express our heartfelt sympathy to Séan and the Tobin family on the tragic death of Ann (Ena) Tobin last night.
“Séan is an integral part of our senior team and the club and the family have been strong supporters throughout the years.”
Ms Tobin’s remains are to be removed to St Mary’s Church, Navan, on Tuesday evening, before a funeral mass on Wednesday morning.
Her death brings to 47 the number of road deaths to date this year. This is up four from 43 for the same period last year.
