The Corrs paid a musical tribute to their father Gerry (82) at his funeral in the Holy Redeemer Church in Dundalk on Monday.

Sharon, Caroline, Andrea and brother Jim played two traditional Irish songs from the altar. Poems written by their father were also recited.

Gerry Corr passed away at the Mater hospital surrounded by his family Thursday last.

The family extended their "heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation for all the care shown to their dad, particularly, Dr Hugh McCann, his medical team and the wonderful nurses and staff of The Mater Hospital Dublin".
