Several cars were destroyed in a fire in the Ringsend area of Dublin this morning.

Five units of the Dublin Fire Brigade fought the blaze at a car repair centre on Fitzwilliam Quay at about 2.30am.

No one was injured and the fire was put out after about an hour. The cause is not yet known.
