Emergency services attend after incident near rail station at about 4pm

Rail services have resumed after a person was struck by a train near Clontarf station this afternoon.

The incident took place at around 4pm today and emergency services attended the scene.

Iarnród Éireann issued a statement on their website that rail lines have since reopened between Clontarf Road and Killester.
