A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Co Meath yesterday.

The man (34) was fatally injured when his motorbike collided with a wall on the Windtown to Ratholdren road near Navan. The incident took place at about 4.35pm.

He was taken by ambulance to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan where he was pronounced dead, a Garda spokesman said.

The road was closed pending a technical examination.
