A man was seriously injured after he was hit by a bus shortly after midnight on Merchants Quay in Dublin city.
The pedestrian (29) was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital, the bus driver and passengers were uninjured.
Gardaí at Kevin Street are appealing for witnesses.
An examination of the scene was carried out and road has since fully reopened to traffic.
