Man in critical condition following Co Limerick collision, three others stable

Gardaí seek witnesses to Abbeyfeale incident as four people remain in hospital

One of the two men seriously injured in a two-car collision in Limerick on Saturday night has been moved off the critical list, and is now said to be stable, the Garda has said.

A total of four people were injured in the collision, with two men said to have been critically ill. The second man remains in a critical condition in hospital.

A third man, aged in his late teens, was taken to University Hospital Limerick where his condition is stable.

A woman in her 20s was taken to University Hospital Kerry where her condition is described as stable.

The Garda appealed for witnesses to the crash which happened on the N21 at Kilconlea, Abbeyfeale, shortly after 11.30pm.

Investigating gardaí are seeking anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with video footage, including dash camera footage, to make it available to them.
