A male pedestrian was fatally injured in an incident on the M50 on Wednesday afternoon.
Gardaí confirmed the death on Wednesday evening after an incident near Blanchardstown involving a lorry and the pedestrian at about 2.10pm. No one else was injured in the incident.
The M50 southbound has been completely reopened at Junction 6 Blanchardstown on Wednesday evening after it had been closed due to the incident.
On Ramps at J4 Ballymun and J5 Finglas have now also fully reopened. Traffic heavy from J5 to J6 following earlier collision.

— AA Roadwatch (@aaroadwatch) November 18, 2015Emergency services had still been blocking two lanes after the right hand lane was reopened earlier, the company responsible for running the M50 tweeted on Wednesday evening, with traffic at some stages backed up to Junction 4 southbound.
The M50 South at Junction 6 Blanchardstown had been closed in the afternoon after the crash, gardaí said.
Traffic was being diverted up the Junction 6 slip road to rejoin the M50 after Junction 6.
An examination of the incident scene was carried out by Garda forensic collision investigators.
The body of the male, whose age has not been determined, was removed to the mortuary at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
