Limerick man killed in Spanish road collision

Foreign Affairs aware of the case and providing assistance to the family

An Irishman has been killed in a road traffic collision in Spain this weekend. The man, who is believed to be from Limerick was involved in the traffic collision involving a motorcycle and died shortly afterward.

The traffic collision occurred on Saturday September 16th.

A spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs said they are aware of the case, and liaising with consular staff in Spain.

“The Department is providing consular assistance to the family at this time” a spokesman said.
