Dublin Port Tunnel reopens following truck crash

Emergency services were using south bore to gain access to crash site on north bore

Dublin Port Tunnel has reopened after an incident this morning in which a truck overturned in the north bore.

The tunnel was closed most of the morning and reopened around lunchtime.

Emergency services were using the south bore of the tunnel to gain access to the north bore.

The five axle ban for Dublin city had been lifted due to the closure of the port tunnel.
