Cyclist injured in Galway crash dies in hospital

Man (43) died on Saturday following injuries sustained in a collision on Thursday

A 43-year-old cyclist  died on Saturday after being injured in a collision in Kinvara, Co Galway.

A 43-year-old cyclist has died after being injured in a collision Co Galway.

The man was hurt in a crash involving a car on the N67 Kilcolgan to Tarbert road near Kinvara at about 1.30pm on Thursday.

He was airlifted to University Hospital Galway where he was treated for head injuries.

The driver of the car was uninjured in the incident.

Gardaí are investigating the collision.
