The clocks are set to go back one hour over the weekend as winter time comes into effect.

Clocks, watches and other devices should be set back on hour at 2am on Sunday, October 25th.

For many, the change will mean an extra hour in bed, while the evenings will get darker earlier.

Winter time will end at 1am Greenwich Mean Time on Sunday, March 27th, 2016.
