Baghdad - The Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Tareq Aziz, stressed yesterday that Baghdad will not co-operate with the new UN arms control body, UNMOVIC, despite pressure from Washington to do so.

"Iraq will not co-operate with [UNMOVIC chief Mr Hans] Blix, nor with his commission," Mr Aziz said. "Iraq will not co-operate with UN resolution 1284. It means nothing to us and its results mean nothing to us," he said.
