An investigation has begun in to the crash of a light aircraft near the Giant's Causeway in Co Antrim which killed two men last weekend. Air accident investigators were yesterday examining the wreckage. The accident happened at a spot known as Blair's Mountain.

Mr Lewis Elliot (54), a father of three, was from Coleraine, Co Derry, and Mr Blair Dyson was from Castle Don ington in Leicestershire, England.

Local people saw the two-seater aircraft fall from the sky just 100 yards from the edge of the cliffs. They said it had a broken wing. The RUC has appealed for anyone who may have taken photos or video footage of the aircraft shortly before or at the time of the accident to come forward.
