Investigation continues into Antrim marina death

The Police Service of Northern Ireland are continuing to investigate the suspicious death of a man at a Co Antrim Marina.

The body of the man named as Mr Mark Trimble, was discovered in the water by the crew of a dredger working at Carrickfergus Marina.

It was confirmed that Mr Trimble, 47, who lived on a boat at nearby Carrickfergus Harbour, had suffered head injuries.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out today to discover the exact cause of death.
