Inventors move to protect rights

An association to protect inventors' creations held its first meeting last night in Dublin

An association to protect inventors' creations held its first meeting last night in Dublin. The Inventors' Association of Ireland aims to "bring together manufacturers, inventors and investors", according to its founder and chief executive, Mr Vincent Keoghan.

Some inventors had no protection or patent on their work while others had complete patents for their creations, said Mr Keoghan. The association will advise inventors on how to protect their patents.
