Gardaí are continuing their inquiries into the stabbing to death of a man in the Kileely area of Limerick city last night.
The man was found unconscious when gardaí were called to a disturbance in Cregan Avenue where a fight which began in a pub carried on in the street outside at around 1 a.m.
The man was declared dead in Limerick general hospital at 3 a.m. He has not been named.
