Indonesia challenge dismissed

Jakarta - The Indonesian Supreme Court yesterday dismissed Ms Megawati Sukarnoputri's challenge to The Central Jakarta District Court does not have jurisdiction to examine and try this case, District Court judge Sukarata said, reading out the Supreme Court decision in a live television broadcast. The court also ruled that another subordinate court had no jurisdiction to try the suit and said the case was an "internal problem" of the Indonesian Democratic Party.
