International Monetary FundManaging Director Horst Koehler has said there was moregood news coming from financial markets and a global recoverywould take place gradually, led by the United States.

However, Mr Koehler said the economy was "not out of thewoods" and there was no place for complacency.

Speaking to journalistsahead of the IMF's annual meetings in Dubai, Mr Koehler said:"We are not out of the woods but we are also clearly in abetter situation than earlier this year."
