The ICTU would facilitate a meeting with the Government on Garda pay once all members of the force were reunited in one representative organisation, the ICTU general secretary, Mr Peter Cassells, said yesterday.
Early progress on pay is possible through a strong united Garda association, Mr Cassells said. He also said discussions could begin on the possibility of a united Garda association affiliating to congress.
