Progressive Unionist Party Assembly member Mr Billy Hutchinson has accused the British government of engaging in "black propaganda" against the PUP. He claimed this was the reason a PUP member was being questioned by the RUC, along with three other men, in connection with the killing of dissident loyalist Frankie Curry, who was shot dead in Belfast on March 17th. "This is black propaganda on the part of the British government to discredit us because of our inability to bring about decommissioning from the Ulster Volunteer Force and the Red Hand Commando," Mr Hutchinson said.
