Durham - A farmer's wife plunged to her death from a 100ft cliff after being pushed over the edge by a flock of sheep.

Mrs Betty Stobbs (67), from Stanhope, Co Durham, England, was charged by 60 hungry animals as she carried a bale of hay on the back of a quad-bike.

The flock leapt for the hay and knocked Mrs Stobbs into discussed quarry. She was killed when the all-terrain bike landed on top of her.
