SDLP leader Mr John Hume has returned home to Derry after taking ill in Austria where he underwent emergency surgery for a ruptured intestine. Mr Hume was yesterday flown by air ambulance from Kufstein, Austria, to the City of Derry Airport, and then taken from there to Altnagelvin Hospital, where his condition was described as "stable and comfortable".
