The Irish Hotels Federation has called on the Government to develop a national immigration policy urgently and provide incentives which would encourage more Irish people to join the workforce, writes Nuala Haughey.
In a submission to the Minister for Finance, the IHF says that simple, fast and transparent procedures for granting work visas are needed urgently to address serious labour shortages.
