The Killyhevlin Hotel in Fermanagh reopened for business yesterday, just three weeks after a 1,200 van bomb extensively damaged it on July 13th. The bombing has yet to be admitted by a paramilitary group.

The conference facilities were opened for a wedding reception attended by 150 guests, and the restaurant facilities will reopen to the public on Sunday. An extension which was completed earlier this year at a cost of £1 million and was wrecked by the bomb, however, will not open until next Easter.

The reopening has been hailed as a victory for tourism in the area.
