The IT consulting arm of Horizon Technology today announced it has been awarded a euro 2.2 million software and services contract by Jurys Doyle Hotel Group.
The contract is for the delivery and implementation of SAP-based business solutions for finance management, payroll and purchasing.
In a statement released today Horizon said its Fusion Business Solution based on the SAP system will improve business communication in the group’s 33 hotels in Ireland, Britain and the US.
Commenting on the deal, Jurys Doyle Hotel Group chief executive Mr Pat McCann said: "Our decision to go with Fusion was based on its empathy with the service sector, its understanding of the business impact of a more integrated solution and its ability to adopt the system to meet our vision of local ownership with central control".
