A PROPOSED European network devoted to preventing youth crime could have a potentially enormous impact, the Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children, Mr Frank Fahey, has said.
Mr Fahey was speaking at the launch of a report from the "Breaking Through" European conference on young people, disadvantage and crime, held last February in Maynooth. He said that having attended the conference he now appreciated "the complexity of the issues which underpin youth crime and the need for holistic interdisciplinary responses".
