LONDON - The former British deputy prime minister Mr Michael Heseltine (64) yesterday underwent a successful angioplasty, a procedure to widen the arteries leading to the heart, the Conservative party said. "He is resting comfortably and hopes to go home in a few days," the party chairman, Mr Brian Mawhinney, said in a statement.
