Thierry Henry stressed his determination to recover from a hamstring injury to lead Arsenal's attack this weekend.
There was the worrying sight of Henry going off injured against Auxerre last night, raising fears that he could be ruled out of Sunday's game against Sunderland at Highbury.
However, the French international declared: "I'm still hoping to be fit for the game. I felt my hamstring and didn't want to take any risks".
Arsene Wenger could still decide to adopt a cautious approach, especially as he has Sylvain Wiltord and Kanu available, as well as Francis Jeffers, despite injury also affecting Dennis Bergkamp.
The Arsenal boss, who rates Henry as "50-50" to face Sunderland, said: "He could be out for the weekend but it looks like a minor problem".
