HURLING:Kerry are in search of a new hurling manager after Pat Heffernan stepped down from the position for personal reasons. The former Limerick forward took up the position in January of this year.

The chairman of Kerry County Committee Jerome Conway thanked Heffernan and his management team for their tremendous work over the past year.

Although regretting the decision, Conway stated he fully understood and respected Heffernan's reasons and wished him all the best in the future.
