Health sector jobs: A wide range of jobs on offer in the health service this week includes posts at Children's University Hospital, Temple Street, administrative jobs at the Rotunda Hospital and a management role with the Nursing Home Inspectorate.
University of Limerick has three new posts in the departments of occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy. The practice education co-ordinators, who will have responsibility for managing students' professional learning, will be employed by UL and funded by the HSE. The salary scale for the posts is €48,368-€57,255.
St Luke's specialist oncology hospital in Rathgar, Dublin, seeks a senior phlebotomist for the pathology department. The salary scale is €32,273-€40,757. A minimum of two years' experience in phlebotomy or related discipline is essential.
Peamount Hospital, Newcastle, Co Dublin, is looking for a purchasing officer reporting to the director of finance. The salary scale is €45,313-€59,419.
The Children's University Hospital, Temple Street, Dublin, is seeking a locum consultant paediatrician in the departments of diabetes and endocrinology and a temporary consultant paediatrician at the department of respiratory medicine.
The Rotunda Hospital is seeking an information administrator (neonatal information systems), a permanent, 20-hour post at Grade IV salary scale. The Rotunda also needs an administrative assistant in the patient services department and a clerical officer job in the office of the director of midwifery/nursing (permanent, 20-hour).
St James's Hospital in Dublin has several NCHD positions available, including a locum registrar in emergency medicine and a locum registrar in medicine for the elderly.
A range of positions are also on offer in the nursing and allied health and social care areas including a manager with the Nursing Home Inspectorate in HSE Dublin North East. There are also positions for clinical nurse managers at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny and Wexford General Hospital.
