Russia and Indonesia are among nine new countries added to the State's mandatory hotel quarantine list.

From next Tuesday, all those coming into the State after departing from or travelling through these countries within last 14 days must agree to enter hotel quarantine for a two week period.

The new additions to the list are the Dominican Republic, Eritrea, Haiti, Indonesia, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Russia and Tunisia.

The list of "designated countries" now names 61 states including 24 from Africa, 17 from Asia, 14 from South America, four from North American and two European states.
