q DEPRESSION TALK: Coping with and surviving depression is the theme of a talk by Colm O'Gorman, founder of One-in-Four, the support organisation for victims of sexual abuse and sexual violence on Thursday at 8pm in the Holiday Inn, Pearse St, Dublin. The talk, which will be chaired by Prof Kevin Malone, Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health Research in St Vincent's Hospital, is the last in the spring lecture series organised by the 3Ts (Turning the Tide on Suicide). q LE LECHE CONFERENCE: Sleep researcher Dr James McKenna, professor of anthropology and director of the centre of behavioural studies of mother-infant sleep at Notre Dame University, Indiana, US, is the keynote speaker at this year's La Leche League conference in the Great Northern Hotel, Bundoran, Co Donegal on Saturday and Sunday. He will speak about the safety of different sleep environments and the physiological and psychological consequences of sleeping arrangements.
