Keeping to a routine is a good strategy, and they advise to avoid overnight cramming, missing meals and snacking on junk food. Get some exercise too, even just a brisk walk during the day, and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

The MAI hosts a website specifically for teenagers, migra-zone.ie, or you can call the association's helpline service for advice or to order a free information pack at 1850 200 378 (ROI), 0844 826 9323 (NI) or email info@migraine.ie
