HEALTH Issues For Farm Women is a series of one day conferences which will deal with such specific farm related illnesses as farmer's lung, brucellosis, arthritis and adverse skin reaction to sprays. The dangers associated with lifting and the difficulties encountered because of isolation, loneliness and distance from social services will also be discussed.
Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny, is the venue for the first conference tomorrow, to be followed by conferences in Sharkey's Hotel, Virginia, Co Cavan on February 13th, the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow, Co Cork on February 18th, Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, Limerick on February 27th and the Corrib Great Southern Hotel, Galway on March 6th.
