A LEADING astronomer from Queen's University Belfast will give a public lecture on the Hale-Bopp comet next Monday in Dublin

A LEADING astronomer from Queen's University Belfast will give a public lecture on the Hale-Bopp comet next Monday in Dublin. Dr Alan Fitzsimmons sits on the Hubble Space Telescope committee and is an authority on space. His research group recently discovered Hale-Bopp's unusual third tail. The Astronomy Ireland talk will be held at the Parnell Mooney pub, Parnell Square, at 8 p.m. There is a £2 cover charge.
