A number of people escaped injury when gunmen opened fire on a house in Northern Ireland today.

A number of people escaped injury when gunmen opened fire on a house in Northern Ireland today.

Up to five shots were fired at the property in Tandragee, Co Armagh, police said.

Detectives have yet to establish a motive for the attack on Cargans Road at about 4.30am.

Police were unable to confirm how many people were in the house at the time. They have urged any witnesses to contact officers in Armagh.
