A family escaped injury when a gunman opened fire on their home in Co Down today.
Two shotgun blasts hit the property in Kilkeel smashing through a front living room window.
A man, a woman and an infant were all in another part of the house in Stream Park, off the Greencastle Road when the attack happened around 2.30 a.m. police said.
Detectives have launched house-to-house inquiries in a bid to hunt down the gunman. The attack is not believed to be sectarian or racially motivated.
