Bohemians were denied their chance to avenge their FAI Cup semi-final defeat to Shamrock Rovers, by a late Tony Grant penalty at Tolka Park this afternoon.

Glen Crowe gave Bohs the lead before Tony O'Connor gifted Rovers the chance to share the spoils when he up-ended Grant in the penalty box in injury time.

Crowe had given the league leaders the advantage when he turned in Mark Rutherford's corner after only 11 minutes.

Meanwhile at Turner's Cross an eight minute George O'Callaghan strike sealed the points for Cork City over Drogheda United.

City remain in third spot, just one point behind Shelbourne.
