Washington - Opinion polls yesterday showed US presidential candidates George W Bush and Al Gore dead level. Three polls, by Time Magazine, NBC and Gallup, showed the two candidates a point apart. The Time and NBC polls of likely voters gave Gore, the vice president and Democratic candidate, a one point lead. Gallup gave Bush, the Republican nominee and governor of Texas, a single point edge.
