Glencar shares make London AIM debut

Shares in Irish exploration company Glencar Mining will commence trading this morning on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Glencar is focused on gold exploration in West Africa, with prospecting under way in Sankarani in Mali and at Asheba, in Ghana.

Glencar has recently signed a joint venture deal with on of the world's leading gold supplier Gild Fields Ltd for the development of its Mali prospect.

The deal provide Glaencar with an exploration budget of up to $12 million in exchange for offering Oil Fields a 65 per cent interest in the Bokoro, Sanioumale and Farasaba licences. Glencar has retained its full rights to the Komana licence, in the same region, which it intends to explore independently and where drilling is planned for later this year.

Glencar will continue trading on the IEX alternaltive investmnet market on the Irish Stock Exchange.
