Team news: New manager Pat Gilroy has wasted little time in putting his own stamp on the side as Dublin prepare to open their Leinster championship campaign this weekend. Gilroy includes three newcomers in his starting line-up while Ciaran Whelan and Shane Ryan are among a number of big names to make way.

Denis Bastick, Alan Hubbard and Mark Davoren will make their championship bows against Meath at Croke Park with Bastick anchoring the full back line and Hubbard named alongside him. Davoren joins Conal Keaney and Alan Brogan in the full forward line.

Gilroy has yet to finalise his substitutes bench but it is likely to include former stalwarts Ryan, Whelan, Bryan Cullen, Tomas Quinn and Jason Sherlock.

Meath have yet to announce their starting line-up.

Dublin(SF v Meath): S Cluxton; D Henry, D Bastick, A Hubbard; P Griffin, G Brennan, B Cahill; R McConnell, D Magee; P Flynn, P Andrews, B Brogan; C Keaney, M Davoren, A Brogan
