Northern Ireland Keith Gillespie will be unveiled as a Leicester player tomorrow after agreeing a two-year deal with the Barclaycard Premiership newcomers.

The out-of-contract former Manchester United, Newcastle and Blackburn midfielder completed a medical at the Walker's Stadium today.

And the 28-year-old could soon be joined by veteran striker Les Ferdinand, who has been in discussions with Foxes boss Micky Adams after being released by West Ham at the end of last season.

Gillespie is Adams' fifth signing since City secured their return to the top flight last season and he has not finished there, with 36-year-old former England international Ferdinand in his sights.

Riccardo Scimeca, Steve Howey, Paul Brooker and Danny Coyne have been Adams' other close season captures.
