Gardaí have confirmed that an alleged CD counterfeiting scam operating out of Mountjoy Jail in Dublin is being investigated.
A number of prison officers are understood to be assisting gardaí with their inquiries after a raid on the jail today.
There were no arrests made and the Garda investigation is continuing.
