Gardaí name victims of two road accidents

Gardaí have named the two men who died in separate road accidents yesterday.

The cyclist who died when his bike collided with a car at around 8pm at Farran Cross near Macroom was named as John Quinlan (30) from Coolroe Meadows, Ballincollig, Co Cork.

Gardaí also named the man who died in Buncrana last night as Francis Vaughan (28) from Oakfield Terrace, Letterkenny.

Mr Vaughan died when the vehicle he was a passenger had a head-on collision with another vehicle in Buncrana at 6.20pm.
